From enquiry to collection
You choose, we quote on WhatsApp, then we deliver, install and collect. Here is what is included and how prices work.
Choose
Pick a scene, a package, a dome or single pieces and add them to your enquiry.
Send
Send it on WhatsApp with your date, venue and guest count. We reply with a quote that includes delivery and installation.
Confirm
Pay the refundable deposit to book. We deliver and install; domes go up the day before.
Enjoy, then we collect
After the event we take everything down, check the pieces and return your deposit.
Prices and terms
- Every price covers up to 3 days on site.
- Package prices are the sum of their parts less 10%, or 15% for the Dome Village.
- Delivery, installation and collection are quoted for your address.
- A refundable deposit of 25% of the hired pieces' replacement value is paid before delivery and returned once the pieces are checked.
- Cancellation terms are set out in your quote.
Looking after the pieces
- Bali cane and cushions stay under cover and dry.
- Please use LED candles inside the domes.
- The painted wardrobes and the bar are heavy. Our team places them; please do not move them during the event.
- Lights are hung and taken down by our team only.
Good to know
Do you deliver outside Cape Town?
Yes. We deliver across the Cape Town metro and the Winelands, and further on request. Travel is added to your quote by distance.
How far ahead should we book?
For domes in summer, three to four weeks ahead is safest. Single pieces can often be booked a week ahead. Ask on WhatsApp and we check the date straight away.
Can we hire for a photo shoot or a show house?
Yes. Shoots and staging can hire by the week or month at a lower daily cost. Tell us the dates and the pieces.
What happens if it rains?
The domes are waterproof canvas on a raised deck. Bali cane and cushioned pieces must stay under cover, so outdoors we place them in a dome, marquee or roofed area.
Do you hang the chandeliers and lanterns?
Yes. We hang every light ourselves from a beam, frame or rigging point we have checked, and take it down after the event.
Can we use candles inside a dome?
Please use LED candles inside the domes and near cane furniture. Real flames are fine outside on the deck, away from the canvas.
Can I buy a piece I hired?
Many pieces are also for sale through Artessy, linked on each piece in the hire collection.
